Energizing Matcha Smoothie

I posted this beauty of a smoothie on our Instagram page last week.  As a result of that post, I whizzed a few of these up for some friends of mine at work and they equally fell in love with it.

Matcha has cancer fighting and fat burning properties to it.  Hell yes!   Matcha is actually straight, stoneground tea leaves and it provides you with green tea’s powerful array of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and amino acids in a way no other green tea can. In fact, a single serving of matcha equals at least ten cups of brewed green tea!Here’s the recipe:1 small handful of soaked cashews (I blend my smoothie in the a.m so they soak overnight)
1 T of Hemp seeds
1 T of Chia seeds
1 T of Coconut oil
2-3 Dates
1/2 of frozen banana
2-3 ice cubes
1 T of organic Matcha powder
Coconut WaterPut all ingredients into a blender and whizz-away! I throw mine in the freezer and it becomes nice and icy.  Enjoy!
