January 24, 2014

Praoy.e Alln. Oagj. One of my favourite fall/winter snacks is homemade apple sauce.   My signature trick is to roast them so that the natural sugars come out and they caramelize. Yummers! But, what happens when you add a little special secret ingredient that adds fibre, protein, prebiotics and probiotics that aid in digestion? A highly nutritious, damn fine snack! north-coast-naturals-daily-cleanse__67992_stdEnter North Coast Naturals Daily Cleanse.  100% Canadian prairie flax seed, psyllium seed husk and sprouted brown rice bran powder all providing soluble & insoluble fibre, chicory root providing prebiotic fibre and an array of probiotics for gut and immune support. Actually, you won’t even notice it’s there! IMG_8114
