Okay, if you missed the big ta-da, my website went down for a few weeks. I was soooo upset because this baby is so important to me. I love posting recipes, wellness advice, inspirational interviews and product reviews for all for you. I spend my early mornings and weekends writing to you all and hoping to inspire you to a healthier you.

You know that about 5 years ago I made some significant lifestyle and diet changes in my life. This was in response to the extreme anxiety that I was dealing with. At the time, I thought it was my high-stress job (and it certainly was). But it was also connected to my diet. So, I educated myself and made some significant changes to start the repair process and I succeeded.
It was during that time that I also learned about how everyday products that we use in our home can affect our health. Skin care products are definitely something that you need to take a look at when you are embarking on a wellness journey. Last night, I took my girlfriend to a Gabrielle Bernstein event here in Vancouver. I hadn’t actually been to Gabby’s events before. I subscribe to her Spirit Junkie app and I will often watch her videos as a subscriber to her newsletter/website. It was an amazing event. There was a lot of talk about fear and resistance which really hit me hard. My girlfriend had the same impact.
It was a bit of a late night and I naturally wake up early so I wanted something warming but that wasn’t coffee. So, here we are…
Matcha is a fantastic tea from ground green tea leaves. It is high in antioxidants and it makes a great alternative to coffee. Matcha is still caffeinated but it doesn’t spike your energy levels and keeps a more stabilized and sustained energy level.
I love coffee. I really, REALLY do. Now, I’m not a 2-3 cup a day coffee drinker but I have one cup of joe a day. And, if you live in West Vancouver like I do, you’ll find me on the weekends at a local coffee shop with my honey, sipping away working on this website.
