What’s in my….Pantry

What's in my pantry

What’s in my…pantry?  As you can see, my pantry is full to the brim of “stuff”.  In fact, this is just 1 of 2 pantries that I have.  But, next to my fridge, this is my go-to place for  most of my ingredients for smoothies and baking.  I can’t possibly go through them all but I’ll try and breakdown my top favourite essentials.

I am that woman.  I do want it all.  I have a day job in Human Resources and I spend my evenings studying to become a Registered Nutritionist for both my own health and for those around me.  I spend my weekends in front of my computer creating posts like this one and the one you are reading now, developing recipes that are quick and easy to make and that don’t skimp on nutrition.  I study health and studying those in the health industry as they inspire me.  I am also developing a business in the pockets of time I have and throw in my marriage, friendships and family. It’s a lot.

I have suffered from various skin issues over the years, primarily acne.  In fact, I still do even in my mid-30’s!  I actually thought it was heredity, sensitive skin or just the brand of products I was using.  It’s so frustrating to deal with especially as an adult.  But, in this post, I am going to take you through the 5 Steps to Healthy & Glowing Skin based on my own research over the years to improve my own complexion.

It is important to note that an imbalance in hormones are also a culprit to acne.  Covering the topic of hormone imbalances is quite individual and likely something I will discuss on its own and in a later post.

North Coast Naturals

In November, I will be guest posting on the North Coast Naturals blog.  I’m very excited about the opportunity.  What I like the most about NCN’s products is that they are a local Canadian company so I am always happy to support and promote great local products.  They were kind enough to send me some products and here is my take on them:
