True story the other day. A girl in the yoga class that I had just taken had just finished pouring filtered water from the tap into her cup. She kept the water flowing, while she sipped and talked to her friend.  I literally went around her and shut the tap.  She likely thought I was rude but I don’t care. Water deserves our respect.

The weather in Vancouver has been crazy gloomy. It has literally (at this point anyways) rained for over 30 days.  No sunlight for 30 days!  So, I’ve been making sure that I’m getting my daily vitamin D and omega fatty acids to make sure that my immune system is still strong despite this shitty weather.

Peppermint Matcha Latte

Last night, I took my girlfriend to a Gabrielle Bernstein event here in Vancouver. I hadn’t actually been to Gabby’s events before.  I subscribe to her Spirit Junkie app and I will often watch her videos as a subscriber to her newsletter/website. It was an amazing event. There was a lot of talk about fear and resistance which really hit me hard.  My girlfriend had the same impact.

It was a bit of a late night and I naturally wake up early so I wanted something warming but that wasn’t coffee. So, here we are…

Matcha is a fantastic tea from ground green tea leaves. It is high in antioxidants and it makes a great alternative to coffee. Matcha is still caffeinated but it doesn’t spike your energy levels and keeps a more stabilized and sustained energy level.
