Peppermint Matcha Latte

Last night, I took my girlfriend to a Gabrielle Bernstein event here in Vancouver. I hadn’t actually been to Gabby’s events before.  I subscribe to her Spirit Junkie app and I will often watch her videos as a subscriber to her newsletter/website. It was an amazing event. There was a lot of talk about fear and resistance which really hit me hard.  My girlfriend had the same impact.

It was a bit of a late night and I naturally wake up early so I wanted something warming but that wasn’t coffee. So, here we are…

Matcha is a fantastic tea from ground green tea leaves. It is high in antioxidants and it makes a great alternative to coffee. Matcha is still caffeinated but it doesn’t spike your energy levels and keeps a more stabilized and sustained energy level.

How was your summer?  It was just such a great summer for us in Vancouver – all sun!  A few weekends ago, James and I spent such a great day – the sun was out and it was relatively warm. The highlight was a long bike ride and then perching ourselves on a bench along the ocean.  Then, just before us, a whale came up for air and “played” in the water for about 45 minutes.  Right in front of us!  It was spectacular and a rare sighting in the harbour front.
